SynChem, Inc. is a research and development company specializing in custom synthesis and contract research as well as its own 1,000 catalog products from its own research program. SynChem has more than 100 chemists in both its Chicago site and Shanghai site with more than 10% of its work force have Ph.D. degree. Through the integration and project redistribution between two sites, we offer our clients seamless custom synthesis contract research services at a competitive rate with IP-protection. SynChem Chicago focuses on time-sensitive, IP-intensive parts of projects and SynChem (China), Ltd. focuses on cost-sensitive parts of projects.

2008              SynChem purchased 13,000 sq. ft. facility in Lake Zurich, Illinois for its worldwide Headquarter and US-based research and GMP laboratories.

2004 – 2007  Signed Research Service Contract (FTE) with AstraZeneca, Ambit Biosciences, TorreyPine Therapeutics, TetraPhase Pharmaceuticals, GSK Research and Development, and other drug discovery companies.

2006              About 800 new catalog products launched and catalog product division expanded.

2003              Setup Catalog Product Division for new catalog products research and development and offering advanced intermediates to customers.

2003              Signed Research Service Agreement (FTE) with Genomics Institute of the Novartis Research Foundation

2002              Selected as a winner of Eli Lilly & Company Supplier Award 2002, one of 15 winners among six thousand business partners with Eli Lilly & Company.

1999              Expanded and relocated business from an incubator facility in Chicago Tech Park, to our current location at Des Plaines, IL.
